Teaching Methods
The unit is organized in the first part of the semester,
An integrated and holistic methodology is proposed in order to break out the fragmented view of knowledge: the theoretical/practical classes are supported on audiovisual systems; the applied work (synthesis exercise) is based in the previous theoretical acquire knowledge, applied to a singular case study to develop the students skills, supported in tutorial classes; and also with conferences attendance, field trips, exhibitions.
The evaluations is continuous and by exame:
- In the synthesis work the evaluation is based on the oral presentation and discussion and in a written report and
draft proposals of landscape design; the exame evaluation is possible for students who have not achieved the objectives and for those who want to improve the mark.
- In the others modules: written tests and some practical work.
