Introduction
The Management Department of the University of Évora in collaboration with the São João de Deus Nursing School, with ARS Alentejo I.P. as a partner, prepared a postgraduate training course in Administration of Health organizations, aimed at improving the skills in the management areas for primary, hospital and continuing health care professionals.
The course main objectives are:
- Provide students with adequate and solid scientific training in the area of management;
- Enhance problem-solving ability and create solutions in non-routine and unpredictable situations;
- To develop argumentation skills and to make judgments of value in context of limited and / or incomplete information;
- To stimulate the transdisciplinary and integrated reasoning in organizations, enhancing leadership capacities;
- Strengthen cultural, social, ethical and citizenship values, which are the guarantor of cohesion and social stability;
- Develop the capacity for implementation and use of Management information and communication technologies;
- To develop a culture of constant application of ethics and professional deontology;
- Develop skills in the field of learning in a self-oriented or autonomous way.
