Introduction
Course Objectives:
To know the current role of basic education and its articulation with family and society.
To know how to structure the action within the scope of the 1st CEB in a perspective of educational continuity.
To develop competencies aiming at educational intentionality (observe, plan, act, evaluate and communicate).
To know the curricular contents and strategies of teaching / learning adequate and facilitating the educational success of all the children, especially in the English area.
To develop / apply permanent research / reflection skills on / to educational action, with a perspective of curricular intervention, co-construction of knowledge and transformation of contexts.
To deepen the development of comprehension / expression skills, oral and written, in English.
To deepen knowledge at the level of English-speaking cultures that are particularly relevant in the context of the 1st cycle of Basic Education and, in particular, in the field of English Literature for Children.
